The Residents Committee manages the maintenance of the Green Areas which includes a special focus on the care of and an appreciation for all of the trees and the promotion of biodiversity in Maryborough Estate. The Residents Committee has followed up on previous representations to Cork City Council in relation to concerns about pedestrian safety in the estate.

For example, when notified by Cork City Council an SMS Alert will be issued by the Committee to advise residents of a scheduled visit of the Road Sweeper and a request to relocate vehicles.
